El Vato is UNIVERSO’s, first original scripted series. The story follows an aspiring singer as he navigates life in Los Angeles after landing a once-in-a-lifetime record deal and stars real-life regional Mexican artist, El Dasa.

The series premiered April of 2016 and the show marked the acting debut of regional Mexican artist, El Dasa. The promotional campaign for the series was tasked with generating awareness in both consumer and trade media as well as building a loyal fan base of El Vato viewers on our social channels.
