TOP CHEF MEXICO

The iconic reality competition series based on Bravo's international brand, hosted by actress Ana Claudia Talancon and an all-star judge panel, aired on UNIVERSO for the first time in Spanish early 2016. Our goal was to drive buzz for the new season of Top Chef Mexico among core foodie viewers and establish UNIVERSO as the exclusive destination to watch the new season. Following the NBCUniversal Upfront presentation, an announcement was shared with consumer and trade press announcing details of the series premiere including a quote from actress and host Ana Claudia Talancon.

A press tour was coordinated across New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, leveraging the talent from the series to promote the series in Spanish-language media and well-known food publications.

Cross promotion on NBC’s TODAY Show with Top Chef host, Ana Claudia Talancón, ran on-air and on Today’s digital channels while promoting the series premiere.

A series of activations took place in various cities to raise awareness among Top Chef fans and internal NBCUniversal employees, events included the South Beach Food & Wine Festival.
