Unpacked is a docu-series that follows the emotional journey of immigrant chefs on the Eats platform. Featuring commentary from experts in the food space, the series highlights stories filled with resilience, family, and the one thing that breaks barriers: food. This series was Eats’ first deep-dive into long-form episodic content that humanized the chefs on the platform.
We sought out to increase discoverability of new cuisine types and raise positive sentiment among niche communities that often feel ignored by the mainstream. Nine episodes were produced and distributed via Facebook, Instagram, and a dedicated landing page generating millions of views and positive engagement.
